Trexler Library presents
DESIGNING EFFECTIVE LIBRARY ASSIGNMENTS
What: A workshop designed to help Muhlenberg faculty create effective library assignments, facilitated by Trexler Library librarians.
Topics will include:
- Alternatives to the standard research paper assignment
- Sample assignments will be shared
- Addressing information literacy issues and skills
- Incorporating library resources into assignments
When: Tuesday, August 7, 10am-12pm
- 10am-11am — Workshop format, covering above topics
- 11am-12pm — One-on-one and/or group assistance, troubleshooting your assignments. Bring any assignments along for feedback and help.
Faculty are welcome to attend only the first hour of the session, if desired.
Where: Curriculum Lab, Trexler Library
