Trexler Library received a 2nd grant from Nextbook and the American Library Association to run a book discussion group on Jewish literature during fall 2008. The group will discuss the theme “Demons, Golems, and Dybbuks: Monsters of the Jewish Imagination” as depicted in five books:
Satan in Goray by Isaac Bashevis Singer
The Dybbuk and Other Writings by S. Ansky
The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
The Puttermesser Papers by Cynthia Ozick
Angels in America by Tony Kushner
