The library has added two new journal packages to its already extensive JSTOR collection. Here’s what’s new:

Arts & Sciences XII Collection – 131 Titles –  subject focus: Law, Political Science, Education, Sociology, Criminology, Social Work, Psychology, Asian Studies.

Arts & Sciences XIV Collection – 160 Titles – subject focus: Language & Literature, Political Science, Communications Studies, Archaeology, Asian Studies. Journals in the collection span 17 countries, 23 disciplines, and date back to 1839.

Beginning with leaders of Lutheran thought in the days when the College was primarily an institution for the training of young men bound for the ministry, speakers from the neighboring region and beyond have come to share their learning and opinions with students, faculty, and staff.

This timeline seeks to catalog and describe those visiting speakers from 1900 to present. The timeline was prepared by Maddux Pearson, Class of 2018, during an internship in Trexler Library Special Collections and Archives in the 2017-2018 academic year. His research was conducted primarily using the Muhlenberg Weekly and the Ciarla, as well as other historical College materials available in the archives.
