Applying Fair Use in the College and University Setting

You won’t want to miss the live audio conference on copyright and fair use running in Seegers 113 from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Attorney and professor Laura (Lolly) Gasaway from the University of North Carolina will discuss best practices for using copyrighted materials in the classroom in light of recent legal and technological developments. Classic Board Games Now Available on Library Terraces

Is the stress of the semester already getting to you? Come into the library to relieve some of that stress by playing some board games. Grab a couple of colleagues and indulge in a game of Apples to Apples. Challenge your department head to an intellectual game of Chess or Scrabble. All of the games are located on the library terraces and include: Boggle, Scrabble, Checkers, Chinese Checkers, Apples to Apples, Chess, Backgammon, and Uno. There are more to come…
