Publishing Your Research With an Eye for Impact

Many journals, especially in the sciences and social sciences, are measured for the influence they have in a given discipline. Two standard measures are used, the Eigenfactor Score (EF) and the Article Impact Score (AI). They can be valuable tools in helping an author decide where to publish for maximum impact.

Eigenfactor Score:

A measure of the overall value provided by all of the articles published in a given journal in a year. The algorithm is described here.

Article Impact Score:

A measure of a journal’s prestige based on per article citations.

  • Get directions via text message, providing on-the-go directions
  • Create walking itineraries with Google City Tours, helping you to map your exploration
  • Find banks, restaurants, shops, and more around a given location, making it easy to find what you’re looking for in places you’re already planning to be
