Author John Updike died Tuesday, January 27. Born in Reading, PA, he wrote more than 50 books since graduating from Harvard in 1954. His writings earned numerous literary awards including two Pulitzers. He frequently wrote for The New Yorker and a posthumous book will be published later this year titled, My Father’s Tears and Other Stories.
