Secured Sockets Layer Now Available

The library has recently installed up-to-date software in order to protect your personal information when you request inter-library loans, authenticate your identity through the proxy server, or view and renew your checked-out materials.  In order for this up-to-date software to work with your browser, it must be running current security software and updates from its manufacturer (for example, Microsoft).

While the College cannot make specific recommendations regarding software on your personal workstations, the Library staff can recommend on general principles that you always update your operating system and security software.  Older browsers cannot run the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Javascript necessary to use the library’s databases.
