More to Google Maps Than Meets the Eye…

Sure, you can use Google Maps to get directions from point A to point B, but did you know about all the other useful things Google Maps can help you do? Here’s a sample:

    • Get directions via text message, providing on-the-go directions
    • Create walking itineraries with Google City Tours, helping you to map your exploration
    • Find banks, restaurants, shops, and more around a given location, making it easy to find what you’re looking for in places you’re already planning to be

Check out the Top 10 Things You Didn’t Know Google Maps Could Do (via Lifehacker) for more ideas (with links to more information for each item).
