Earth Day – April 22

22 million Americans celebrated clean air, land, and water on April 22, 1970, the first Earth Day. The theme for Earth Day 2016 – to reduce food loss and waste. Experts have projected that reducing food losses by just 15 percent would provide enough food for more than 25 million Americans every year.
