Earn cash! Volunteer for the library website usability study!

We want to hear from you!

We are looking for student and faculty volunteers to take part in a usability study of the Trexler Library website.  Your feedback is vitally important to improving the website.

As a participant in this study, you would be asked to use the Internet, online resources, and the library website to find information and complete common tasks, as well as to share information about your experiences using the library website.  Help us improve the website to make it better meet your needs.

Your participation would require two to three hours of your time over the next few weeks (i.e., two sessions of 60-90 minutes each):
1. in which you would interact with a librarian as you conduct individual research
2. in which you would interact with a librarian as well as other students or faculty in a focus group.
Participating in this study would also require: using a computer; reading; thinking aloud (explaining what you’re doing and thinking); and filling out questionnaires.

In appreciation of your time, you would receive $15 after taking part in each of the two sessions ($30 total).

If you are interested in participating in this study, please fill out this brief questionnaire: Faculty  / Student.  In order to develop a diverse group, participants will be selected for the study based on responses to the questionnaire.

If you need more information, please contact Jen Jarson, Trexler Library: jarson@muhlenberg.edu / 484.664.3552.

This study has been reviewed by, and received ethics clearance through, the Institutional Review Board, Muhlenberg College.
