An under-utilized reference resource-
THE PRINT BIBLIOGRAPHY
Lurking on the shadowy shelves of the reference collection on A level is a large, lonely collection of bibliographies screaming out for students to use them!
A bibliography is an indexed listing of relevant writings on a particular topic. Bibliographies can include books, journals, newspapers, directories, and websites. Commonly arranged by sub-headings, individual entries give both citation information and a brief abstract. After finding applicable resources, items can be located within the library or requested via ILL. It’s a ready made compilation of research on a given topic – great for beginning those end-of-the-semester assignments!
