Muhlenberg College is a now a member of the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE), thanks to shared sponsorship by the Provost, the Office of Information Technology, and Trexler Library. NITLE is a non-profit organization focused on helping liberal arts colleges and universities with “the integration of technology into teaching and learning, strategic approaches to managing technology infrastructure on small campuses, and the impact and implications of emerging technologies for liberal education.”

Faculty and staff can take advantage of a wide range of conferences, workshops, and more at a reduced member rate (or even free of charge, in many cases).
- NITLE offers a wide variety of conferences and events throughout the year at locations around the country, as well as online. Upcoming events include, for example: Visual Literacy: Tools for Teaching with Images and Teaching with Mobile Devices: Mapwalks.
